    The Temporary Non-Lucrative Residence is issued for a term of one year. The first renewal is for two years, and the second renewal is for another two years. After five years of legal residency, a long-term residence permit is granted for five years. After ten years of legal residency, it is possible to apply for Spanish citizenship

    2. Financial independence is the main ground for eligibility. You must either have the funds in a Spanish account or demonstrate a steady passive income that is no less than the required annual minimum

    The minimum amount required for the main applicant is 400% of the IPREM. Specific requirements are as follows:
